Random Thought...Dance Fads

So the '60's had a whole bunch of songs that inspired dance fads "The Twist" being the first to come to mind (and a personal favorite)

In the '70's you had "The Hustle" (do do do do do do do do do)

In the '80's there was what, the "Elecric Slide" and proabably a small handfull of others. I remember the Slide becasue it would always some on at dances and such.

The '90's there was The "Macarena" (I'm not sure if I'm spelling that right)

Now, this decade I'm tring to think of an equivilant and I can't think of any. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 00's have got nothing in the way of a stupid dance fad.

I think it's time I add that to the list of "untapped markets" I should get to work at cashing in on before '09 is out. Let me see all I need is a catchy tune and a simple dance obese people can doin the mall.

Right, in the meantime, though I'm off for a coffee...

That was the only one I could think of I know there's gotta be more. That one they just played at dances and stuff I could be wrong on the date, thoug it could've been like early '90's. It was a bad dance.

The 80's had The Running Man/Roger Rabbit, The Cabbage Patch, The Ed Lover Dance, The Hammer Dance, and one of the greatest dance moves of all time, The Moonwalk. The Country line dance fad was also hatched in the 80's.

Sorry. I just got to represent.
