I waste my wit on Facebook...

In responce to TomT64's faceboock status update on his disapointment that a happy hour changed Mir replies...

I hate it when bars change thier happy hour. I feel violated and unloved, like, "what? my loyal business wasn't good enough? You had to change that special thing we had together? Remember the good times? You say it'll be the same but it wont. The trust is gone. I can't even look at you right now. It's time we move on. I'll find another happy hour, you find another clientelle. Maybe we'll see eachother again sometime, but unless you bring back two dollar well drinks I think it's better if we went our seperate ways."


This of course got me thinking...

I wonder if previous writers would have got 1/2 as much written if they had the internet to play on all day. Perhaps Great Expectations could have been a tolerable novella on account of Dickens being too busy trying to figure out how to make 120 character updates on twitter.

Would somebody get a time machine invented allready to answer these important questions!
