Seafair Weekend

Oh man, so much to report so little time. This weekend was SeaFair and honestly it was the first Seafair I’ve ever actively looked forward to. This year Samuel and David were having a Seafair party at their apartment which is in Leshi on Lake Washington with a pool and a little dock and everything. Sweet. Been looking forward to it all summer.
So Friday, I was at work and I got to spend the first forty-five minuets or so of my morning sitting around the office talking to John. He wandered off to get back to work later but came back later and we chatted some more. Long story shot I worked up the balls to invite him to Samuel’s party and got his digits. *does a little dance* I act like I was all smooth but in reality it was like something out of a movie. I invited him to the party when I was downstairs retrieving this board with pockets that has everyone’s time card on it. He came up later to give me his number and he startled me when I had the board in my hand and I jumped and spilled half the employee’s time cards all over the floor. Smooth.
Saturday we went over to Samuel & David’s and got our party on. We swam in the pool. We sat in the sun on the dock. We ate BBQ and many chips and dip. We drank. We had a good time. John did not show up which disappointed me but I still had a good time. (I didn’t have to moderate my margarita intake once I knew he wasn’t coming). Oh yeah I made a pregnant lady drive me to the liquor store to get booze for the party (mostly for Sam, though). I took pictures but I left my camera at their house and I’m a little worried about it because someone stole Sam’s booze, my camera might not be safe. It’s hard to say. I’m trying not to think about it. All in all it was a good time. Little drama, but drama that gave me a brilliant idea for a reality TV show I need to pitch to bravo or TLC.
Sunday I was hungover and in no mood to go through with the plans I had but I did anyway. Sundays I hang out with my rents or at the moment my mum and she really wanted to go on a ferry ride. So we got on the ferry to Bremerton. A boat ride while hungover was not as bad as I thought it would be when I was lying in bed debating on whether to follow through or not. I’m glad I did though. It was a nice day and when we got over there we had lunch at Anthony’s outside by the water. I got steak and oysters and there were yummy cocktails with vodka, lemonade and fresh raspberries. Yum. We did some walking around town but it was dead, dead, dead on Seafair Sunday. The ferry ride back was not as great as I was by that time exhausted (the energy drink had worn off and the hangover had returned) and there was a screaming fat child sitting by us raising hell. (Though it was pretty funny when she wasn’t paying attention to where she was going and ran smack into the ferry seats and she was such an insanely huge toddler she knocked the row of ferry seats out of alignment.)
All in all a good weekend. If my camera hasn’t been stolen and I get it back from Samuel and David’s in a timely fashion I can edit and post pictures. *crosses fingers*
