Grad School: Woke up this morning with a panic attack about how Dr. Cumberland has not gotten back to me STILL about my letter of recomendation. Good thing there's not a deadline but serioulsy I was aiming to get my app out by my birthday but I don't see that happening. now. I'm freaking out again. It sucks. I don't mind hiding under a rock and focusing on it for the next two weeks but this whole letter of recomendation thing I feel so helpless. Like, seriously my former advisor doesn't care enough about my future to fucking get back to me? ARG! If she didn't want to do it, she just should have said as such. I went to the coffee shop and e-mailed her AGAIN first thing. Every time I go to her office during office hours her door is closed. Shouldn't there be some sort of rule about that sort of thing?

Thanksgiving: Went to Kevin and Kim's as usual. Had Catfish for the first time. i liked it but it's a very rich fish. I had one peice, liked it and felt bad because when I took a second peice I only had two bites and was so done. We played Apples to Apples and I so totally won. Highlight of the evening though. We were playing Apples to Apples and the word trampoline came up and my dad and I went into the Mighty Boosh "Bouncy bouncy" crimp in unison. !!! I've converted my pop into a Mighty Boosh fan (Aparently when I lent them all my region 2 DVDs while I was in London, MB was all he watched.) One down, the rest of America to go. Oh yeah and I got my MB Live/Future Saiolrs tour DVD this week and jeaus the stuff they do on stage that they can't get away with on the BBC! I was shocked and laughing my ass off. (Rapist rabbit and "stump fucking" that's all I have to say.)

Friday: I met up with my old friend Adam. It's been well over a year since I saw him. It turns out he found out he was a hiking buddy of guy that Cathy was dating about a year ago and in conversation icame up and they realized they had a mutual aquaintence. (Nice to know he didn't have anything terrible to say about Mir, becasue I wasn't sure how well this one would be painted from that guy, honestly) This city is too goddamn small! Another reason I gotta get outta here for a while. Anyway, it was a lovely day and we met half way at Greenlake. It was a bumber that we each pent an hour waiting for the other and only ran into each other when we were both on our way to leave. Oh well. We walked around the lake and got caught up. Good stuff. Then went to meet up with my mum who wanted company at the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. Kind of not as impressive after the London Oxford Street lighting ceremony. I'm so not ready for Christmas...wait till my b-days over then I'll sing songs and have cheer.
