Dear Miranda Staley,

Thank you for your application which I read with interest. We receive many
applications, we interview a certain number and then offer places to some of
those interviewed. Where we cannot meet face to face, we offer a telephone

I am writing now to ask whether or not you are still interested in a place at
Goldsmiths College? If you are, would you be available for a telephone
interview  [next week sometime].

I'd be most grateful if you would let me know.

Yours sincerely,

Co-ordinator MA Creative and Life Writing
Senior Lecturer Dept of English and Comparative Literature.

Funny thing was I was going to see who I was supposed to e-mail this morning becasue I never got that letter of reciept that I was supposed to. ha ha. I guess they DID get it!
AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! *bounce*
Shit, man, now I've gotta brush up on my interviewing skills. It's been almost four years. I might have to hit up the old Career Development Center at SU or something! EEEP!!
In other news Aberdeen application went out yesterday! After a stalemate, things are moving forward! YEAY!

I only applied to this place and Aberdeen. Both of which I think are about equal in how much I want to go. Aberdeen is proabably a more intense program that has a bit on publishing that I could really use but the Goldsmtih's "Creative & Life Writing" is very niched for what I want to do...and it's in London! So yeah each has it's up and downs.
Goldsmith's is the one that is in London and the one I visited and really liked when I was over there. (The other one in London I didn't like I didn't bother applying to). Also alma matter of John Cale of the Velvet Underground also the band Blur went there and played their first show in the Student Union building. Just a little history there.
